07.04.2024 - Plus/4 game 'AntiAir' released - free for download
Commodore News - cascade64.de - external link'AntiAir' is an oldschool arcade style shooter, where you have to annihilating all UFOs while avoiding falling bombs and blocks. The game was made by Japanese developer Inufuto and as always, there are several version for different computer systems, now including one for Plus/4 and C16 (32k). A C64 port might also happen the next days.

Commodore News - cascade64.de - external linkA Commodore 64 can be used to view the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse with the help of some software from 1984 called "Sky Travel: A Window To Our Galaxy". We take a quick look at the original boxed program, complete with floppy disk, manual, and diskette replacement card! Then with the help of a 1541 disk drive and some vigorous head knocks, we get the software booted, configured (with some advice from Commodore friend Bruce Thomas), and finally view the eclipse.

Commodore News - cascade64.de - external linkSpinning Image is a game where you gradually build up the image on the playfield to match the solution on the right of the screen. Blocks must be placed onto the board as well as being removed to help build up to completion. There are 50 levels to tackle which come in five sets of ten. The levels in a set can be tackled in any order but the following set is only unlocked when at least eight levels in its preceding set are solved. The object of each call is to get your ambulance to the exit road by moving all the vehicles vertically or horizontally around the play area. Joysticks should be connected to port 2 and another one to port 3 via a userport "4-player adapter". Released unfinished for the KozMOS2024 party compo.
