Green Beret, also known as Rush'N Attack, is a Konami game released in 1985 on the arcades and later ported to several home systems. But it was never released for the Amiga back then. Until now! Made with Earok's Scorpion Engine and featuring: - the 4 unique stages from the original. - all the major enemies. - the 3 secondary weapons of the arcade (flamethrower, bazooka/rocket launcher and grenades) as well as the main knife. - can be played even with 1-button controller, 2 buttons gamepads or CD32 gamepad. - wonderfully rearranged NES Rush'N Attack soundtrack instead of the simple military march of the arcade. - compatible with any Amiga model that has 512KB ChipRAM + 512KB Other RAM

29.01.2022 - 'Word Slide!' - new game for Plus/4 released and free for download
You get six chances to guess the secret word. It is one of about 2700 commonly-used English words with exactly 5 letters. Just type the word and hit RETURN/ENTER to see if you guessed it correctly. If you had any letters in the correct position, they will be highlighted as green. If you guessed a letter that is in the secret word, but in the wrong position, it will be yellow. Any letters that aren't highlighted are not in the secret word, so you can eliminate those from later guesses. Original code for Commander X16, C64 and VIC20 by Matt Heffernan aka SlithyMatt (USA).

29.01.2022 - C64 game 'Rabid Robots 4K' re-released as free digital download
Rabid Robots is a funny little shoot 'em up submitted for the Craptastic 4K Game Compo in 2018, run by Reset Magazine. The idea of the competition was to create and develop a C64 game, which after compression fits 4096 bytes or lower. This was the first of two entries that were submitted in the competition back in the day.

26.01.2022 - 'Scorpion Engine' for Amiga - 2022.1 update released
There is an update for the Game Construction Erik 'earok' Hogan's 'Scorpion Engine', which is supposed to enable the development of games that run on an A500 with a screen refresh of 50 Hz. The editor itself runs under Windows. Graphics are imported as PNG files, the Tiled editor is used to create levels. Amiga formats (mod, 8svx, anim5) are used for sounds, music and animations.
