Commodore News - cascade64.de - external linkA lot of work has been made the last few days on 'Another World' for C64 and the graphics engine has been completely redesigned. Now everything is rendered in a chunky buffer before being converted to bitmap graphics. Polygon blending and masking are now possible. No sprites and no pre-computed animation data used.

Commodore News - cascade64.de - external linkThis is an experimental core, and while the developer does his utmost to make sure it works for everyone and will try to help solve any problems that arise, you run this core entirely at your own risk. 'Chameleon' is an extremely user-friendly multipurpose C64 cartridge that can be used without opening the computer. It is just plugged to the expansion port of the C64. It can also be operated as a stand-alone unit (since it's basically an FPGA computer like the C-One in a C64 cartridge case) and fired with cores of 8/16-bit home computers and consoles.
