28.08.2026 - C64 game 'Skittles III' released - free for download
In this series of puzzles, a chessboard is filled with black pawns. You need to replace all these pawns with the ones on the left. The 63 pawns on the left are colored and organized into 21 sets of 3. You cannot change the order within each triplet, but you can rotate it. Place all triplets so that their colors match those of the chessboard. You can clear the chessboard at any time and start over from the beginning. You may also reposition a triplet on the chessboard, if you change your mind. 30 puzzles to beat the game. Each one of them has a unique solution.

28.08.2026 - 'Wet Wings' - adventure for C64 and Amiga released - free for download
'Wet Wings' is a classic interactive fiction adventure. Unlike a traditional graphical adventure, the world is presented primarily through text descriptions. You might examine it, take it, or give it to another character. Characters can also be examined and spoken to, and you may be able to give them objects or interact with them in other ways depending on the situation. 26.08.2026 - Laserdisc conversion of 'Dragon's Lair' for C64 released - free for download
This new C64 take on 'Dragon's Lair', released by Cinematronics in 1983 for arcade machines, is a conversion of the Laserdisc game. To be able to play the game you need a 16 MB REU as a storage device. The REU is built in cartridges like the 1541ultimate, Ultimate-II(+)(L), Turbo Chameleon or RAD Expansion Unit, in most emulators and C64 replicas like the Ultimate 64 or Commodore 64 Ultimate. For the best gaming experience the Ultimate-II+(L) cartridge or the Ultimate 64 or Commodore 64 Ultimate is recommended. Those devices have the Command Interface built in that, if enabled, allows automatic loading of .reu files. When using one of the other mentioned devices you have to manually load the .reu files when prompted by the game.

24.08.2026 - Building a Physical Optical Amiga MOD Player - video by 'RobSmithDev'
So, this all started in January. Rob had come up with an idea to build some kind of MOD player. Originally the concept was based around a pianola, the piano's that play themselves, and he was going to print out a ProTracker module onto a long sheet of tracker-feed dot-matrix printer paper. Rob later decided this wouldn't work very well and most likely would easily tear as the patens scrolled between them. Instead, he adopted the concept of a disk. It almost looks like tracks and sectors, but in fact, its rings and patterns. Join Rob as we start the journey into how this mad contraption was built that premiered at the UK Amiga Kickstart 2026 Expo.
