31.10.2026 - Plus/4 emulator YAPE 1.4.1 released
This release is a big one, with a strong focus on picture and audio. On the video side YAPE can now output a composite signal (plus a simulated RF antenna one) with a handful of new CRT options, and TED's video equalization pulses are emulated as well. The TED rendering itself has also been refined, including the floating bus and the NTSC palette in mixed mode. Under the hood, the CPU core was reworked to produce exact bus fetch cycles under all circumstances; there is a brand new WASAPI sound driver and the serial port (ACIA 6551) emulation has grown up considerably.

'Roc'n Rope' brings Konami's 1983 arcade climb to the C64. Shoot a harpoon across a gap, grab the rope it leaves behind and scramble toward the phoenix. Cavemen, dinosaurs, birds and falling rocks have other plans. Built with a 1986 mindset: tight memory, fast sprite work, colourful bitmap stages and a soundtrack made for the C64. Big Ball Back Breaker is a fun run, jump and collect 'em up for the C64 and its reboot versions of this fabulous machine. Big Ball Back Breaker consists of the following features: Cartoon style loading bitmap illustrated by Alf Yngve, front end presentation, Hi Score table, 16 levels of ball dodging mayhem, a variety of collect 'em ups, including power ups and devious nasty surprises, uptempo thumping soundtracks and custom made sound effects.

31.10.2026 - 'The Legend of Zelda' for C64 released - free for download
Shigeru Miyamoto's masterpiece is now available for the C64 (+ Easyflash)! Brought to you on the 40th anniversary of 'The Legend of Zelda', the 1986 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Family Computer Disk System. It is the first game in the Legend of Zelda series, set in the fantasy land of Hyrule. It centers on an elf-like boy named Link, who aims to collect the eight fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom to rescue Princess Zelda from Ganon. The player controls Link from a top-down perspective and navigates the overworld and dungeons, collecting weapons, defeating enemies and uncovering secrets. 30.10.2026 - 'C16 Boulder Dash' for C16 and Plus/4 released - free for download
This is a fan-developed version of Boulder Dash for the standard 16K C16 and the Plus/4. A RAM expansion is not needed for the C16 to play this game. This repo really contains 6 different versions of the game. They all run with the same 'game engine' but have different caves. Use the joystick to select the version from the first menu screen, then press fire to confirm.
