13.12.2022 - Amiga Forever and C64 Forever 10 Released
Cloanto released today version 10 of Amiga Forever and C64 Forever, the official Commodore/Amiga preservation, emulation and support suites for Windows. The new editions are the result of almost two years of development since the previous major version. Cloanto's RetroPlatform framework is the result of a lot of effort to make Amiga and CBM 8-bit features and interfaces appear effortlessly unified. The two packages now encompass more than 700K lines of code written by Cloanto, integrating with a collaborative endeavour of emulation plugins and content preservation.

12.12.2022 - Video:Trojan for Amiga AGA (WIP)
Trojan is a side-scrolling action game developed by Capcom, originally released as a coin-operated arcade game in 1986. Now work has been started for an Amiga ( AGA ) Version, made with the Scorpion Engine. This video is a sneak preview on the work in progress.

11.12.2022 - 'Cross Verbix V1.0' - new game for C64, Plus/4 and VIC-20 released
Cross Verbix is a word game somehow similar to Scrabble and to a much lesser extent similar to Tetris: you must construct correct English words by rotating columns of letters or by rotating the bottom row before the letters reach the top level. You can get extra points if you complete the level earlier by lowering the stack of letters below the second row. The game is free for download. The link above is for the C64 version, the Plus/4 binary can be obtained here, and the VIC-20 here.

On about 750 pages, this PDF offers information on Commodore's different computer / video game consoles, including: - Commodore TV GAME, - Commodore MAX Machine, - C64 Game System, - CDTV, - Amiga CD32. The Document contains information and pictures on game releases, software, accessories, etc. Text and pictures are taken from different sources found online. You can get this PDF for a bargain but you can download a sample and check for yourself before paying for this.

08.12.2022 - Code Review a Novel? C64 BASIC in The Impossible Fortress - new Video from '8-Bit Show And Tell'
The Impossible Fortress is a novel by Jason Rekulak about the (mis)adventures of a 14-year-old Commodore 64 programmer in 1987. Each chapter opens with a snippet of C64 BASIC code from the video game he's writing, with the help of a friend he meets during the story. Robin gets the dumb idea to type in, comment upon, and when reasonable, fix the code from all 34 chapters in one stupidly long video.
