Denise is a relatively new C64 emulator, whose C64 emulation improved alot in last months and which is regularly developed. Later the emulator will also have Amiga emulation included (not ready yet). Works on Windows (32/64 Bit), Linux and Mac.

XSidplay2 is a QT based SID music player for WIndows and Linux. Sid emulation uses Libsidplayfp 2 that has both Resid and ResidFp engines (ExSid support is being added). It customizes HVSC information in STIL and song length DB, it shows CGSC lyrics, the player used by the song, the A4 note frequency table used by the player.

30.04.2020 - Updated version of C64 game 'Endless Forms Most Beautiful 64' released
'Endless Forms Most Beautiful 64' is a cute little oldschool platformer/arcade style game, that was ported from ZX Spectrum and released in 2019. Now an updated version with fixed bonus and sfx only option was just released. Play as Moebius or Pucky, rescue thousands of lost imps and return them to their natural habitat in unusual but not so distant places.

'LOAD' is a german print magazine, that covers themes around C64 or Amiga and a lot of other retro machines. this time, besides other topics, there is an article about the history of GUI, of course including the Amiga Workbench. 'neatPLA' is based on dodgyPLA (https://github.com/desaster/c64-dodgypla) and is announced to be one of the most compatible PLA replacements. Changes compared to dodgyPLA: 3.6V voltage regulator. Better for logic levels. Still within XC9536XL specs - Cool looking PCB - Changed pin mapping code to mach the new schematic & PCB - CASRAM delay increased to 30ns. Fixes timing issues with motherboard 326298 - Added extra delay to all outputs. Fixes a timing issue with motherboard 250425 + SwinSID.

Axis/Cascade is no more. We are all still shaken by the unexpected death of our friend and group mate Patrick aka Axis/Cascade. We wanted to express our sorrow, so I coded a little intro, which you can find in the C64 demo section of this page. The following text is a rough excerpt taken from the scroller:
Dear Patrick, may this be the condolence from the the group that was co-founded by you long time ago. We want to give you our last salute. I (Zeldin) know how much you were breathing the spirit of the scene. That's why I thought a goodbye demo would have made you happy. You and me exchanged lots of mails about how much we both enjoyed the good ol' days and of course: how much we miss them... It was this tie that emotionally connected us for over 15 years. Thanks for all your help in supporting the group and your indefatigable endeavour in spreading our name. Your tattoos were legendary! Thanks for your work on fb and youtube. Your channels were appreciated by a lot of people. Thanks for being such a good chap. You'll be sorely missed!!!
