17.12.2020 - 'Kung Fu Flash' Firmware v1.17 released
'Kung Fu Flash' is a cartridge for the Commodore 64 by Kim Jorgensen that packs a punch. It can emulate different cartridge types, load PRG files and use D64 disk images. Just place your desired CRT, PRG or D64 files on a FAT formatted microSD card and use the built-in launcher to execute them. New in this update: - Experiential NTSC support. - Small performance optimizations. Note: The NTSC version has only been limited tested and may not work on your C64, feedback is welcome. Small performance optimizations has been done in this version which also affect the PAL version.

'Chameleon' is an extremely user-friendly multipurpose C64 cartridge that can be used without opening the computer. It is just plugged to the expansion port of the C64. It can also be operated as a stand-alone unit (since it's basically an FPGA computer like the C-One in a C64 cartridge case), replacing the computer, the floppy drive and the heavy power supply. A docking station providing 4 joystick ports and connectors for an Amiga or C-64 keyboard is available. New in this core: - Merge incomming system reset with local reset, so CPU is held in reset while. - external reset is pending. - Fix in scaler for the scale factor 1.5x only used by 640x480, that caused pixels to be lost reducing the picture quality. - Fix in VIC-II emulation, changes to D011 yscroll value to preform DMA delay effects were one cycle off. - Fix in VIC-II emulation, changed the architecture of the internal 40 character buffer to match observed addressbus bahavior during DMA delays.

16.12.2020 - C64 title 'Tomb Chaser 2020' released
'Tomb Chaser 2020' is a remastered version of the game 'Tomb Chaser' from 2019. Whilst the engine is still BASIC V2, the former PETSCII graphics are exchanged with charset graphics. Instead of 10 "monotone" tombs, there are now 8 graphically different tombs and 3 game modes. Plus saved Highscore and game settings. Furthermore Turbo Mode of an Ultimate64 is supported (switch "U64 Turbo Registers" on and leave "CPU speed" at 1 MHz). The game can be downloaded for free.
