Krakens is a short casual arcade game. You play as a swimmer who has to clear blocks by swimming all around them while avoiding to collide with krakens. New in V2: Added sound effects - Added joystick support - Added title screen - Fixed a bug where music was glitching while saving highscores

29.02.2020 - Bucket Wars 1.2 Dual for C64/C128 released
Another new version with some more fixes and enhancements of this Tactics RPG. New here: Intro story only plays the first time - Help text now shows all the rows - Help text appears faster - Units are no longer left grey sometimes - Attack and move display no longer lag when scrolling while moving a unit - Evade text now updates and doesn't corrupt screen when moving a unit - Attack display no longer remains if you die on player phase attack.

'Jan Beta' is replacing the notorious SMD electrolytic capacitors in the Amiga 600 that he repaired in the last video. This is not meant to be a tutorial but giving some (hopefully useful) insights about how to approach the problem.

TheC64 Game Maxi Tool is a tool designed to let you create a custom firmware .bin file to inject your favorite Commodore 64 games into the carousel UI of both TheC64 Mini and the Maxi computer. This can be accomplished without altering your TheC64 device's hardware or wiping out the actual operating system of the unit. This makes it safe to use and revertable; best of all - anyone can use it without any advanced technical skills or hardware experience.

25.02.2020 - New video from 'Adrian Black' - Using a NOP Generator to help fix a dead 1541C drive
In 'Adrian's Digital Basement' it's time for another Commodore 1541 disk drive repair: a 1541C, the last large 1541 drive made. This drive sports the Newtronics mechanism with Track 1 (aka Track 0) sensor which must be enabled to work. A NOP generator is used to help fix this drive and it's explained how these work.

25.02.2020 - C128 game 'Bucket Wars 128' version 1.1 released
This adds a few new features: Forest and Water now offer extra avoid - Shields can't move into forest - Archers can move into water - Shields and Archers have less move - 2RN is now used - Weapon Accuracy has been increased. Bucket Wars is a small, Tactics RPG and it is also available as (slower) C64 version.

In this video '8-Bit Show And Tell' takes a look at 10 C64 BASIC commands and other features that aren't used all that much, maybe because we didn't understand them, or couldn't think of a use for them: DEF FN, ON GOSUB, STOP vs END, CONT, RND() parameters, USR(), WAIT, and more.
