13.11.2022 - Amiga game 'Devil's Temple' V3.5 released
Devil's Temple - Son of the Kung-Fu Master is a Spin-Off of the 1984 genre defining arcade game - Kung Fu Master for the Amiga (OCS), that is even enhanced to the original it's based on, featuring 10 stages with cool colorful graphics and nice gameplay. V3.5 has the following fixes: - When using the ADF's, Level 9 now loads (mcgeezer), Stage 10 files moved to disk 2 to fix. I'm amazed nobody picked this up sooner and just shows floppies/adfs are not in fashion. - End of game bug fixed where the game would not end if the player moves immediately right when X appears. Fixed by spawning Lena before X, now Lena will always be in the chair.

11.11.2022 - New footage (30) for WIP Amiga game 'Souverän Soccer'
'Souverän Soccer' is a (wip) Super Formation Soccer (SNES) like game for unaccelerated stock Amiga 1200 / CD32 and compatible machines (Amiga AGA 020, 14 MHz, no Fast RAM, 50 fps). Since the Amiga37 event, mostly bugs were fixed that popped up during the show. But one new feature has been added too: The crowd's grand stand has been visually improved by making the (currently) three crowd layers transparent, so that you can see through to the layer behind the other. In previous versions there was a hard vertical seperation.

Magnetic Scrolls were the UK-based text adventure makers, responsible for some first class C64 and Amiga games, who were able to match Infocom, thanks to the success of games like The Pawn and Guild of Thieves...but even they couldn't beat time. This is their fascinating story.

...from time to time, some thoughts need to get out...Farewell Patrick!
Author: Zeldin - written on 31.12.2014
Axis/Cascade is no more. We are all still shaken by the unexpected death of our friend and group mate Patrick aka Axis/Cascade. We wanted to express our sorrow, so I coded a little intro, which you can find in the C64 demo section of this page. The following text is a rough excerpt taken from the scroller:
Dear Patrick, may this be the condolence from the the group that was co-founded by you long time ago. We want to give you our last salute. I (Zeldin) know how much you were breathing the spirit of the scene. That's why I thought a goodbye demo would have made you happy. You and me exchanged lots of mails about how much we both enjoyed the good ol' days and of course: how much we miss them... It was this tie that emotionally connected us for over 15 years. Thanks for all your help in supporting the group and your indefatigable endeavour in spreading our name. Your tattoos were legendary! Thanks for your work on fb and youtube. Your channels were appreciated by a lot of people. Thanks for being such a good chap. You'll be sorely missed!!!
Mach's gut, Patrick... den Adler im Herzen, sge4ever!
