13.06.2020 - Yet another 'SpriteEditor' for C64 (x-dev Windows app)
This program helps to design sprites for the Commodore 64. It will generate a header file (.h) aimed for the cc65 compiler. This way you could directly insert this file into your program sources. But by just selecting the produced data you could do anything of course.

13.06.2020 - CharPad (Free Edition) Version 2.7.2 released
CharPad is a graphics data editing tool that facilitates the production of graphics data in a format compatible with the legendary Commodore 64 home computer. The program runs on Windows desktop using .NET technology and allows you to design character sets, tiles, fonts and maps for 2D video games and demos. New in V2.7.2: - Tile naming/tagging features (previously only available in the Pro Edition) - Tile Editor: Cell Selection with selection only ops - Bugfixes etc etc, it's bang up-to-date with everything but pro features.

Starting from the day when Escom were the highest bidder at Commodore's liquidator's auction in New York (I was there), how their attempts to relaunch the Amiga spectacularly failed, then the troublesome years when our beloved computer bounced around from company to company, Viscorp, Quickpack, Gateway 2000, etc. and beyond.

11.06.2020 - Version 1.20 of C64 game 'Alien 8' released - now also available for Plus4, C128 Vic-II and VDC
'Alien 8' was originally made for ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, Amstrad CPC and MSX (published by Ultimate Play the Game). It was lately successfully ported to C64 and is now also available for Plus4, C128 Vic-II and VDC. Version 1.20 furthermore also contains a number of small bug fixes and improvements, that have been made to the code.

Available for C64, C64C, C64G, C16, VIC-20, Amiga 500, Amiga 1200, Amiga 600, and A4000/3000/2000/CDTV keyboards. The dust cover has been treated to absorb UV light. Protect your precious Amiga against dust, dirt, splashes, and yellowing (please keep in mind that UV is only one of the reasons of yellowing plastic materials). 09.06.2020 - CBM prg Studio v3.14.0 released
CBM prg Studio is a Windows IDE which allows you to type a BASIC or machine code program and convert it to a '.prg' file, which you can then run in an emulator or on real hardware. It also includes character, sprite and screen editors and a fully featured 6510/65816 debugger. Besides bug fixes, V3.14 includes a lot of new features like: Git integration, BASIC 7 abbreviations. Connect SID tool to MIDI devices, Screen editor digitiser tool, Sprite editor character import, Resize VIC20 screen designs.

08.06.2020 - 'Age of Heroes 2' - Work on new C64 game announced
Still early WIP, this freshly announced game project is going to be a 4way or 8way scroller/platformer/shooter with a map that opens up and some BIG boss fights. More news once the developers get fully onto it. The provided screenshot mockup already looks fairly amazing.
